Nationwide wanted their guest suites at Nationwide Arena to be an elevated experience for their VIPs, leaders and guests.

The challenge
Nationwide called on treetree to update the environmental branding for its two guest suites at Nationwide Arena. Since the suites are used for hosting VIPs, leaders and guests, the spaces needed an elevated aesthetic worthy of its visitors that also conveyed a sense of pride, enthusiasm and spirit for both the Nationwide and Columbus Blue Jackets brands. Additionally, the two suites needed to be able to stand alone when used separately but be cohesive when combined for one larger event. treetree took on the challenge of co-branding the suites in seamless way.

To align two very different brands, treetree leaned into the color the brands share: blue. It became the predominant hue throughout the suite, making it easier to tie in additional elements of both brands. Brushed aluminum logos, dimensional letters, gloss varnish and white matte elements further tie Nationwide and CBJ branding elements together, reinforcing their partnership throughout both suites. To help the suites stand out from others in the hallway—and ensure brand recognition—treetree created a bright white modern archway accented by a blue tone-on-tone graphic of Nationwide’s highly recognizable Plaza One tower illuminated with CBJ pride.

Suite entrance


Visitors to the suite are surrounded by Nationwide branding in a way that doesn’t detract from the excitement of being at the game. By seamlessly working important Columbus Blue Jackets brand elements in with Nationwide’s own branding, visitors to the suites will be treated to a unique experience with Nationwide’s brand that they can’t get anywhere else.
