As the world’s leading critical digital infrastructure provider, Vertiv connects and protects the networks of Fortune 500 companies around the world. But when COVID-19 forced its employees to go fully remote, the Global Content and Campaigns team craved some connection support of its own. As the staff navigated pandemic-related work-from-home challenges—staff shortages, lack of childcare, communication gaps, process adjustments—they found themselves quickly falling behind on their to-dos. So they called in treetree to get organized and get ahead with an eight-week project management engagement.

Solution
treetree’s skilled project manager stepped in to assume management of Vertiv’s two project systems, Wrike and Smartsheet, overseeing to-dos, opening lines of communication between teams and organizing projects with new eyes and fresh thinking. A few weeks in, Vertiv saw an opportunity for even greater impact, extending our engagement from eight weeks to nine months. Ultimately, treetree’s staff augmentation was a critical part of several key marketing initiatives, including case studies, internal audits, sales playbook development, Eloqua campaign support and the company’s implementation of data tracking within Power BI. Our project manager also developed a new way to track and report on global metrics for the company’s various digital campaigns.
